20 MONTHS · PC & CONSOLE
Build and ship games for PC and console
Mobile games are not what made you want to do this. The big ones did.

Proof in 30 seconds
480 hours on Unreal Engine 5 and Unity, with a dedicated PC and console production term. Indian studios do a large share of co-development on international PC and console titles: real work on real games.

Illustrations of the kind of work this course builds towards, not student work. Photographs of real MAAC Whitefield student projects will replace them as batches graduate.
Is this you?
Tap whichever of these already sounds like you — there's no right answer.
What you'll make
Grounded in this course's real modules and software — not a placement promise.
Month 1
A playable prototype in the engine — movement, camera and collision working before anything is pretty.
Month 3
Game-ready assets built to a real triangle and texture budget, integrated and running at frame rate.
Month 6
A level with systems in it: interaction, state, UI and a gameplay loop someone else can finish.
Month 12
A vertical slice — one section of a game at shipping quality — with the PC and console specialisation term still ahead of you.
See it, don't just read about it
A 20-second level, built in code. Collect the pickups and notice the decisions a level designer made for you.

Most of this catalogue is a software and production craft, not a drawing exam — modelling, compositing, editing, level design and design tools are all taught from first principles. Where a course does lean on drawing (character design, storyboarding), it starts from basic shapes and construction, not raw talent.
