A production-pressure challenge modelled on a real studio brief and a real delivery date, testing whether students can deliver finished work under genuine constraints.
Format
Students receive a brief modelled closely on an actual studio assignment, with a fixed delivery date and defined technical constraints, then submit finished work for review against those constraints.
Who can take part
Open to enrolled MAAC students at a stage in their course where they can produce finished, deliverable work.
Why it matters
Talent gets a student noticed; reliably hitting a deadline under real constraints is what gets them hired back a second time. Deadline tests exactly that.
Exact dates for MAAC Whitefield's first cycle will be confirmed closer to the centre's October 2026 opening.
