What you'll make
Grounded in this course's real modules and software — not a placement promise.
Month 1
Clean roto and paint work on real plates, plus your first keyed green-screen composite in Nuke. Unglamorous, and the exact thing entry-level hiring tests.
Month 3
A tracked and match-moved shot with a CG element sitting in it correctly — the first time your work stops sliding.
Month 6
Simulated effects in Houdini and RealFlow integrated into a live-action plate, lit to match with Arnold.
Month 12
A shot-based reel: four or five finished shots with breakdowns, which is the only format VFX vendors actually review.
See it, don't just read about it
Wipe between a raw plate and the finished composite to see how much of a VFX shot is built after filming.

AI has changed these tools, not removed the need for people who understand story, composition, timing and craft — this curriculum teaches those fundamentals alongside the current AI-assisted tools of the trade, so graduates direct the tools instead of being replaced by them.
Most of this catalogue is a software and production craft, not a drawing exam — modelling, compositing, editing, level design and design tools are all taught from first principles. Where a course does lean on drawing (character design, storyboarding), it starts from basic shapes and construction, not raw talent.
